1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the services of Global Logistics Services ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Global Logistics Services provides international and domestic freight forwarding, cargo tracking, customs brokerage assistance, warehousing, and related logistics services. All services are subject to availability and applicable laws.
3. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete shipment information
- Ensure all goods comply with applicable import/export regulations
- Obtain necessary licenses, permits, and documentation
- Pay all applicable fees, duties, and taxes
- Notify us immediately of any changes to shipment details
4. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited from shipment:
- Illegal substances, narcotics, or controlled materials
- Weapons, firearms, and ammunition (without proper authorization)
- Counterfeit or pirated goods
- Hazardous materials without proper declaration and packaging
- Live animals (without prior arrangement and permits)
- Any items prohibited by the destination country
5. Liability Limitations
Our liability for loss, damage, or delay is limited to the lesser of the declared value of the shipment or applicable international conventions (e.g., Warsaw Convention for air freight, Hague-Visby Rules for sea freight). We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or special damages.
We are not liable for delays caused by customs authorities, weather events, force majeure, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. Payment Terms
All quoted prices are in the agreed currency and subject to change based on fuel surcharges, currency fluctuations, and regulatory changes. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur interest charges.
7. Claims
Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery date for lost shipments). Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted. Supporting documentation including photos, packaging evidence, and commercial invoices must be provided.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable international freight conventions and the laws of the jurisdiction in which services are rendered. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify clients of material changes via email.
